Deputy Chief Of Party/Deputy Program Director - Indonesia

Job Description

The Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) will co-manage programmatic aspects of improving governance and public service delivery in health, education, and other sectors in Eastern Indonesia. The DCOP will lead the development of detailed program plans and activities for the region and ensure they have been implemented effectively and efficiently, while overseeing direct reports. The DCOP will serve as RTI's alternate representative to USAID, government counterparts, local civil society organizations, and program partners when COP is unavailable. S/he will ensure the timely and high quality completion of program deliverables and reports in accordance with contractual requirements.



Qualifications: 

Master's degree in International Development, Public Administration, Political Science, or related field.
At least 12 years of related experience, including designing, managing and implementing programs in support of local governance and decentralization.
Prior experience working with or managing USAID or other donor-funded programs.
Candidate should possess strong technical, management, and administrative skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills required and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of internal and external clients.
Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and versatility.
Strong command of English language is required.
