Job Description

RTI International is seeking applicants for an upcoming governance project in Eastern Indonesia. This multi-dimensional project, funded by USAID, will focus on governance and public service delivery in health, education, and other sectors.
This position will provide guidance and advice to technical and project management personnel on identifying opportunities and developing the local capacity of selected entities. Local capacity building will include an array of tailored technical and organizational support to strengthen administrative, logistical and financial management, fundraising, policy and advocacy, knowledge management, network engagement, technical expertise, and monitoring and evaluation. Responsible for leading capacity building of stakeholders and developing improved polices. The Capacity Building Specialist will be responsible for conducting assessment of capacity building needs, recommending technical assistance, developing and implementing capacity development plans, managing materials development processes, and promoting sustainability.


Qualifications: 

Master's degree in international development, education, social studies or a relevant field of study; at least 6 years relevant experience working in designing, implementing and managing training programs; or Bachelor's degree with minimum 10 years of experience
Experience in conducting assessments, making recommendations and developing capacity building programs, mentoring, coaching, and leading a team
Exemplary skills leading capacity building programs
Demonstrates group presentation skills;
Outstanding verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and cross-cultural skills required.
Fluency in English language.
Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and versatility.
Local National highly desired. Compensation will be determined according to the Indonesia salary scale.
